I got my creative little hands on this adorable grapevine wreath from Hampton Art and immediately decided that it needed to become my first decoration for St. Patrick’s Day, rainbows and springtime. Hampton Art makes a HUGE variety of home decor pieces that are meant to be crafted with, embellished, painted and decorated in all the ways. I cannot wait to use so many of the awesome ones they gave me to try out. This grapevine rainbow wreath was a quick and fun project that used the seven rainbow felt pieces I was holding on to for something magical.

What do you need to make a grapevine rainbow wreath?

To make the wreath, you will need the following materials.

  • Grapevine Wreath from Hampton Art
  • Pieces of Ribbon (great time to craft your stash)
  • Felt Hearts from Classicfelt; Kunin®
  • Cricut Maker to Cut the Felt Hearts
  • Buttons
  • Twine (If a Hanger is Desired)
  • Beacon Fabri-Tac Glue

How do you make it?

It is so easy peasy. Cut ribbon pieces about eight inches long. Tie them into the wreath then trim them

Glue the felt hearts to the wreath, as well as the buttons.

Tie a twine hanger on if desired.

Felt Heart Crafts Project Ideas

Last month (February) I stuck a rainbow of felt hearts into the goody boxes sent to the members of my design team. I added a little note encouraging them to create something using the felt heart pieces in the bright, cheery colors. Truth is, I am a crazy huge felt fan. Check out what they made!

Can you even stand how adorable these pom-pom critters are. Meg and Makeable Crafts used her felt hearts for FEET! So creative.

Amy from Amy Latta Creations also used a grapevine wreath to make this darling home decor piece! You can check out THIS WREATH and her amazing hand lettering/craft project over on her blog!

Beth Watson is also a fabulous hand letterer and whipped up these darling gift tags. Check her out on her blog at Creatively Beth.

Katie from A Sweet Berry Designs used her felt flowers as balloons to embellish this amazing wood art piece. She has a lot of fun things happening over on her blog too!

Debra Quartermain added her hearts to make this darling hearts and rainbows change purse.

Here is another fun way I have used rainbow felt hearts. I made this garland with the kit that I have in my online store.

You can grab it here.

So yay! Yay for felt hearts, a beautiful grapevine rainbow wreath and all the different ideas.

Cheers,

Laura
