10-Minute Christmas {Be Merry} Plate

I was looking for something smaller to hang on the wall above my glass canisters. but, being at the end of my Christmas decorating, I didn't want to spend anything else. So, I grabbed a plain white plate from my dish stash, which perfectly in the space - and made my own message sign.
I have a Silhouette and that would allow me to easily make my own letters. But guess what? It's still in the box and I didn't have time to figure it out. So, I went into my craft room and grabbed these leftover scrapbook letters.
The tricky part was getting the spacing just right. But I found that by barely sticking the letters on at the bottom allowed me to move them around a bit.
Once I was happy with the placement, I gently rubbed the letters in place, and that was all.
Some berries and some greenery gave it a little accent color.
I love it under the open niche in our kitchen. It's the perfect message and after Christmas I can peel off the letters. For more details on this project, and other easy DIY projects, please visit my blog The Everyday Home, at http://everydayhomeblog.com/2015/12/diy-be-merry-plate.html
