DIY Rope Christmas Trees with supplies from Dollar Tree!

Starting with two car funnels, one pack of small bells, and four nautical ropes from Dollar Tree. The funnels don't have to be black, you can use whatever color you find.

The reason being we are going to spray paint the two car funnels so the black won’t show through.

After paint is dry, start to heat up hot glue gun to use with nautical rope and later mini bells.

Once hot glue gun is ready, start wrapping nautical rope around the car funnel with the hot glue holding it in place. Make sure you're setting each piece on top of each other.

While rope is cooling from the glue on the car funnel, decide on how the bells should be placed on the tree (pattern/random/etc) You can spread them out to look like ornaments.

Hot glue on mini bells with desired look

Once all bells are glued, the DIY rope trees just made are ready for display!

These look like Pottery Barn knock offs at a fraction of the price. Absolutely love these. I think I am going to look for a wider funnel or use one of the foam cone shapes that you can also purchase in $ Tree. Thanks for the great idea.

I agree, I have since made fatter trees and I like them much better. I also made one with Green macrame rope and I love that one.

You might attach some small snowflakes as well.
