Holiday Crate Inspiration X10

Hi Friends..........Do you know what happens when you take wood crates, add DIY Bloggers, and tell them to create a Holiday Decoration?

That is exactly what 9 of my bloggers friends and myself decided to do. We all bought the same wooden crate and made it into a Holiday Themed Decoration.

If you are stopping by from Meredith @ The Palette Muse, Welcome....if you are just now joining in don't worry, I have all the other 9 bloggers listed below, so you won't miss a thing.

Let's take a look at what I came up with and then you will want to check out all the other ladies creations.
This is the crate that we all started with. I found this crate at Home Depot.
Nice crate. Unfinished and plain. Now what to do?
I decided to stain the crate with a slightly dark oak stain. I let it dry overnight.
I decided to use the crate on my front porch.....
I added burlap as a lining, some fresh cedar cuttings, faux poinsettias.
There are so many ways to use this crate throughout the year not just for the Holiday's, but other seasons as well, and if nothing else you could use it to store some of your Holiday decorations in until next year. So useful. Have you ever made a Holiday Crate? How would you use or decorate yours?

Alright! Time to hop over and see what CC, did with her crate! - See more at: CC @ CD Country Living - http://www.cdscountryliving.com/2015/11/holiday-crate-x10-project.html
