Have an old mirror that you just don't love? Don't throw it out, give it a redesign!

I painted this mirror with Paint Couture "Angel Eyes" and highlighted the details with Posh Pigments in Copper.

I lightly distressed the details and added Posh Pigments in copper to make those details pop!

Before

I'm sure back in the day this mirror was displayed proudly, but it just needed a little something to bring it back to life!

DIY-in less than 30 minutes a complete redesign.

To prepare this piece for painting, I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol to remove any oils or residue build-up. Always clean your piece prior to painting. Rubbing alcohol is safe and will prepare a piece for painting with most paint brands.

Pro Tip- Use playing cards under the rim of the frame to protect the mirror from paint. Once you have painted remove the cards, no more scraping paint off or having to tape around a curved surface!

Painted in Paint Couture Angel Eyes and lightly distressed the details to let some of the gold shine through.

Lightly dust the details with Posh Pigments and an artist brush.

Posh Pigments are perfect for adding a pop to any piece. Mix a small amount of the pigment to any topcoat to apply.

This is a great DIY project for a beginner or advanced DIYer. You can get this look in just under 30 minutes! Happy DIYing!
