Found a Vintage Vanity Mirror at a sale. The Mirror was terrific but the back did not look as well... but it was only 50 cents...
Tore off the old stained Fabric and used Gold Rub and Buff on the metal... let dry and Meanwhile.....
Found this Card in my stash, it had two pictures of the beautiful Magnolia...
Got out a dish that was the size of the back of the mirror and traced it round and cut it to glue down with Tacky Glue... Also cut out the second picture of the Magnolia......icon
I cut it out carefully and then put some Gold Leaf paint in the center of the flower. When that dried, i used Mod Podge and put several coats to give it a sheen... Then I got my packet of glue squares and went to work...
I peeled off the protective cover and placed the squares of foam around the Magnolia that was adhered to the Vanity Mirror..

Now that everything was dry I mounted the Shiny Magnolia to the square foam spacers and It was done... (You might notice the line of Glitter Glue around the first Magnolia, not sure I like that so I'm leaving that optional for you to choose)
Thanks to the Mod Podge, just a damp cloth swipe keeps it clean..
I get to check the back of my Neck like my Momma told me too.. lolicon

This is a good revival. I have my mother's comb, brush and mirror set. It can never be restored to its original beauty, but I got a couple of ideas from you. 😇
