Hi Mary. Soak you dish towels in a quart of warm water, a half-teaspoon liquid dishwashing or laundry detergent, and one tablespoon ammonia for 30 minutes. Then remove them from the liquid and rinse them well. Good luck Mary. I'm wishing you a happy and healthy Holiday Season.
