Style a spot in your own like this cute corner shelf. Step by step to help you decorate your home.

Empty Shelf to Get Ready to Style

Start with an empty shelf and make sure you clean it off first. Just wipe it down good with a soapy rag. It can be any type of shelf or mantle!

Gather Items from Your House

Gather items you have from around your house and add some pumpkins if you want to for fall. Lay the items out on a table or floor to see what you have to use.

Try candles, faux plants, and glassware. Here I used old brushes, a riser, and wood pumpkins. All of these items I had already on hand but Target dollar spot or the dollar store are great places to find knick knacks too!

Add Items to Shelf

Start adding items to your shelf. Make sure you use items like this old brush to add texture. Try using items of different heights on each shelf.

Keep placing items here and there until you are happy. Step back to make sure you like the shelf as a whole too!

Finished Shelf

The after! Step back and admire your work! See how I added items of different colors and heights with a mix of textures.
