Mix Matched Baskets Salvaged With Chalkboard Paint

We just finished painting our basement and some organizing is in order. We have a collection of mix matched baskets that just don't go together, and well, they were a little grungy, too. I didn't want to toss them, because hey, new baskets aren't cheap these days, to I gave then a few coats of chalkboard spray paint.
Here is what the baskets looked like before.
I simply cleaned them up, laid them on a tarp outside, and went to town with some chalkboard spray paint.

I had good coverage with the paint, but I did do some touch ups with a paint brush and a small bottle of the craft sized chalkboard paint.

I could have also used flat black spray paint to cover them all, and then brushed on a coat of chalkboard craft paint.

I guess I also could have just painted them all with black spray paint and called it a day, or any color for that matter.
I made some labels for them too, and attached those with craft wire.

These will come in handy and be less distracting to the eye in once our basement is put back together.

i hot glue to glue wine corks on bottoms to get them off the floor and have even put legs on baskets using various materials i found at garage sales, like the tops you screw into your deck posts.
