Upcycled Windows

My boss gave me a couple windows that were removed from her grandmother's home. A couple of the glass panes were broken, and they had been sitting in our office for a couple of years. I asked if I could bring them home and give them a new life, so here's what we did!
They turned out perfectly-imperfect!
We started out by breaking out the rest of the glass. We took a box and set the window on top and then gave it a couple taps with a hammer. The glass fell right out and into the box.
Next we added on the chicken wire. We just flattened it to the back and my husband used a staple gun to attach it. Then we trimmed off the excess.
It didn't take very long at all, I'm a great project manager and my husband is an awesome project contractor. Haha, such a good sport.
Last piece of the puzzle were the hangers. We aligned them to the inner edge where the corners met.
Then I just added in some of our favorite family photos. I'm so glad we could rehome these beauties and give them a new life. We'll cherish them forever!
