I recently painted my kitchen cabinets , prior to this my wall clock that hung above my sink had stopped working. Knowing I was going to paint my kitchen and cabinets I didn't want to spend the money on an expensive clock so I purchased one from the Dollar store until I could find one I liked. I live in an older home and wall space is limited so I decided to make over my clock with a few things I had from previous projects instead of spending the money on a new one.

Here is my clock I purchased from Dollarama. Nothing special but it did the trick.

I had these tiles left over from a project so I wanted to use them on my clock.

I cut the tile into individual squares.

Next I removed the backing from the tile and began placing it around my clock. Leaving spaces in between.

Here is the clock with the tiles around it. Next taking more tile I placed them over top of the spaces going around the entire clock.

Here is my clock complete with all the tile. At this point you can stop and leave as is but I wanted to add abit more detail.

I had these self adhesive little gems left over from my mirror project .

Cutting in strips of 4, I placed them in between the raised pieces.

So here is my clock finished.

Here it is back up above my sink. I love how this turned out and I'm happy I was able to use it, rather than purchasing a new one.
