Buffet Painted With Dixie Belles Midnight Sky!

This project was completed by Vintage Statements, they took a nice but tired buffet and create this lovely Midnight Sky Black buffet!
The piece started out in great condition. We didn't have to fix any tracks, uneven hung doors or missing hardware. This meant we could get right to removing the hardware, cleaning the piece and begin painting.
We started by using the Dixie Belle Paint Midnight Black with their line of brushes. We did two coats over everything and then decide that we didn't like the color of the insides of the cabinets.
This is something that wasn't planned but we decided to use our Dixie Belle Sea Glass paint to finish the insides off. We are so thankful that we did this because it really finished the piece off. Love it.
The painting went on very smooth and had no issues
Next we wanted to finish the piece with a flat clear coat. We used Dixie Belle's Clear Coat flat for this project. It goes on nicely and drys clear. Just what we need for a dark project like this one.
We then could just put the hardware back on and get this piece ready to sell with some lovely pictures. For this project we used: All Dixie Belle Paint Company products which included: Midnight Sky and Sea glass paints, Flat Clear Coat, and their brushes. Love this line and feel free to check them out for other great products!
