Hello! This is the lady who doesn't like to throw anything away if I can help it. Over the years I have taken my little loving friends to the vet for their yearly shots. Each and every time I would get a tag for their collar. Which my pups don't wear . So after throwing a few in the trash I started filling a container with them. When I went to the container to put the most recent tags in I realized it was getting full. So I started thinking of things that I could use them for. And since I needed one more chime on the front porch. I set out to make one.
I went to my husbands shop and found a bunch of these little screw in hooks. and found two small chains the same size. He hasn't missed them yeticon
I found this little dog at the thrift store paid $3.00 for him. I had my husband cut me a piece of wood. I stained it with some stain I already had and clued the dog onto the board with Gorilla Glue bought at Walmart. I think it was about $8.00 for a small bottle
Then I screwed all the little hooks in the bottom of the board and tied brown yarn to them
Then to other end tied all the dog tags to it
End result a cute little chime. It doesn't chime really loud. But it gave all my pup tags a cute home. and it reminds me of all the money I have spent on the little Berger's! icon icon
