Winter Fairy Garden
A few years ago, my mother in law gave Big Daddy a fairy garden for Christmas. This was before fairy gardens became so popular. The fairy garden consisted of moss, a twig and of course, a fairy. It was very simple and pretty. Then, the moss turned from green to brown. I assumed this was normal because it was winter. It was not.
This Christmas, I winterized the fairy garden and it looks pretty good.
I tossed the moss and replaced it with sprigs of pine and cedar.
Then I added a sparkly, ice covered branch.
I finished it off by adding some faux snow on the ground.
