Concrete floors rock! Why? Concrete is a durable flooring material for both indoors and out and it’s economical (it’s your sub-floor) and even easy to clean! While plain grey concrete can be a bit boring and blah, there’s an easy DIY fix to turn concrete floors from merely functional into floors that reflect your personality and style: Floor Stencils!
Do you have a concrete floor that is a good candidate for a creative transformation? Check out these amazing DIY stenciled floor projects on concrete to help get you inspired and on your way:
Stenciling concrete is an inexpensive way to add style to an otherwise utilitarian floor. A stenciled concrete floor can also help you hide imperfections, create a lovely focal point in your home, or just add a dose of beauty to your space for very little cost. Watch our VIDEO tutorial (on our website) to see How to Stencil a Concrete Floor in 10 Easy Steps using our Anatolia Tile Stencil.
A stenciled office space and Pilates studio helps to inspire both productivity AND creativity! Breathe Pilates Miami put pep back into her step at her work with our Starry Moroccan Stencil on a decorative concrete floor.
Carte Blanche Upcycle stenciled her floor with our Lisboa Tile Stencil and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®… Even after 2.5 years of her and her clients walking all over it, it still looks beautiful!
Ellie Mac Designs took a snap of this outdoor painted concrete floor that we designed and stenciled with a group of talented artisans in Marrakesh, Morocco. We are always inspired by global chic designs and we mixed patterns from our African Stencils Collection to create this bohemian World Market look.
Amber's Shade of Blue decided to rip out her carpet to expose the blank slate of concrete underneath. She used a variety of our corner and border stencils and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® to create a concrete carpet look. That's pretty creative, don't you think?
Kindred Vintage’s patio is now ready for summertime BBQ's! She says that our Lisboa Tile Stencil made this once overlooked area into her favorite hangout. The stenciled concrete has lasted beautifully through the seasons and in all kinds of weather including snowstorms! Can you believe what just a little stenciling can do??
Take a guess: What's the CHEAPEST and most CREATIVE way to makeover a concrete floor? That's right: Tile Stencils for floors! It's less expensive than buying a rug and SO much more rewarding! Another amazing project with our popular Lisboa Tile Stencil by Heather Bruno-Sears!
Domestic Blonde says, "I decided to completely redo my master bathroom by myself! I didn't want to pay for all new flooring, but it had to be changed as our tile was PINK before! I chose the Parlor Lace stencil for the floor and I love it!"
Gail Hill’s original bathroom floor was so plain, blah, and boring! She then painted it with our Spanish Tile Stencil Set in gray and happy yellow to create this amazing stenciled faux concrete tile effect.
Megan Debruyn says, "I think I'm addicted to painting!" Join the club! Must. Stencil. EVERYTHING. Including the floor with the Silk Road Suzani Stencil.

What’s really fun about stencils is that you can make it unique! Christina Catterson is stenciling her concrete floors with our Toledo Tile Stencil – she can either stencil the entire floor or stencil only two rows around to create a border. The possibilities are endless!
To complement her kitchen’s black and white color scheme, Jeannette Kendall chose to decorate the floor with our Chez Ali Moroccan Stencil. Spills will be super easy to clean up on this concrete floor!
Celeste Korthase is finishing up this custom concrete patio floor using our Majorca Tile Stencil. Instead of painting the design all one color, she uses three different colors to highlight different elements. She also leaves some elements out so the painted elements stand out even more. You can do the same by taping off those sections with painter’s tape as you stencil.
Jamie Fink gave a ho-hum outdoor porch a bit of personality with our Endless Moorish Circles Stencil. This design easily translates to many different styles, including Moroccan or modern, as for this contemporary home.
