I was called to a home where these folks were getting new tile flooring and they did the do it yourself (diy) baseboard removal themselves before the flooring was going to be put in.
Unfortunately they forgot to or didn't know to take a razor knife and score the top of the baseboard caulk where the baseboard meets the wall. If you don't do that you're going to tear the paper on the drywall.

If you're watching this video and have already torn the paper on the drywall when you removed your baseboards for new flooring?

PeckDrywallPainting on Apr 21, 2016Happy to @B. Enne ! Don't feel bad. You would be surprised at how many people actually make this mistake all the time. It's a pretty easy fix if you know the right materials and techniques. Take care, -Paul
