* NEW * 4 Valentines Day Wreath Ideas Using Items From Dollar Tree & W
Sharing 4 Budget Friendly Wreath Ideas for Valentines Day!
Good Morning!
I wanted to get a jump start on getting some wreaths made for Valentines Day and I had a lot of fun working on these!
For the most part I am using items I purchased at Dollar Tree & Walmart and they are all fairly inexpensive and simple to make!
The first wreath I worked on has a fun gnome theme to it.
I used a large size grapevine wreath form (Walmart) and a pretty galvanized heart sign that has a trio of cute gnomes on it. (dollar tree) I simply hot glued the heart to my wreath.
The next thing I did was add 2 faux boxwood picks (walmart) underneath the heart by tucking them into the wreath form.
Then I added a pretty layered bow using burlap ribbons.(ribbons purchased at dollar tree)
How fun is that? :0)
The second wreath I worked on I used a smaller size wreath form. (12" size / walmart)
I used 2 of the pretty boxwood picks and placed them at the bottom of the wreath.
The next thing I did was add a pretty heart shaped tray that I purchased at dollar tree, I had thought about spray painting it another color but I really liked the metallic gold and decided to use it as is. I thought it would go perfectly with the silver I planned to use on this design.
I just attached it to the bottom of the wreath using some hot glue.
Then I also added a fun corrugated metal heart that I had taken off of a dollar tree sign some time ago.
To finish this wreath I chose to add a galvanized metal welcome sign to the heart by using a little hot glue as well. (welcome sign also purchased at dollar tree)
I think this is such a fun one and reallypretty for Valentines day even if it doesn't use the traditional red and pink colors.
For the next wreath I also used the small size wreath form.
I added a fun Valentines Day themed metal truck sign that I had purchased at dollar tree.
I simply attached it to the top of the wreath using some paddle wire.
The next thing I did was just layer 2 bows.I used a red/black buffalo check ribbon as well as pink burlap.
Simple and Super Cute!
The last wreath I worked on I used a larger wreath form and some pretty faux florals.(all the faux florals used on this wreath were purchased at dollar tree)
I started by cutting all of the roses down so that they had small stems that I could easily tuck into the wreath.
Then I used a little hot glue on each stem and tucked them into the wreath along the bottom of it.
I did the same thing with some faux greenery and I just love the contrast of the leaves with the pretty roses.
I chose to add in some faux amaranth as well and I wanted it to drape along the bottom of the wreath and I am so happy with it.
I knew I wanted a fancier style of ribbon for this bow so I searched through my ribbons and found this pretty black and white ribbon. It has a pretty raised/flocked design and I thought it was perfect.
I didn't have a lot of it however so I just tied a simple single loop bow and attached it to the wreath.
I think it finished the wreath off beautifully.
I think this wreath is so pretty and could be used long after Valentines day.
