How to Make Some Cute Fabric Pumpkins !

Halloween is just around the corner and this fun DIY doesn’t take much time or material to make . Follow along for some cute DIY Fabric pumpkins! I’m not an expert at sewing whatsoever , but I think I did a pretty good job at my first attempt 😂💕. Next year they will definitely look better .
Step 1: Pick your fabric
You can use just about any fabric for your pumpkins . Any leftover fabric you already have , Old t-shirts/clothes or you can go purchase some at Walmart or rummage through the clearance section of your local craft stores.
Step 2: Cut all your fabric into rectangles . Make them as big as you want your pumpkin to be . Smaller rectangles give you smaller pumpkins.
Step 3: Make a running stitch on both of the longer sides of your fabric. Leave long enough thread on both sides because you will be pulling those to close your pumpkins
Step 4: Once your are done with the running stitch on both of those sides , fold your material over ( hamburger style ) with the nicer fabric inward and sew the shorter side shut.
Step 5: Pull the strings at one end of fabric where you did a running stitch and tie a knot when you see this scrunching . Flip the fabric inside out and you will have what looks like a little sack.
Step 6: Start filling will poly-fill until you reach the top of the other end. Do the same with the strings at that end and tie a knot. You should end up with something that almost looks like a pumpkin.
Step 7: Grab some twine and wrap around the pumpkin until you have 8 even sections. Tie a knot and cut the end of the string.
It should look like this image! Pull the strings tight enough to create those sections.
Step 8: Make the stem with leftover material or anything you have on hand that can work as a stem. You can glue it or sew it on.
There you have it ! Some beautiful fabric pumpkins to display around your home for Halloween.
