DIY Map Coasters
Make your own map coasters with some tiles from the home improvement store, maps, and mod podge. Super simple and a pretty addition to your home! I did something like this and they came out great BUT when you put a hot cup of anything on it the cup sticks to the mode podge:( Why? any ideas I even tried spraying with shelac to see if that helped and it did not

This could also be done on clear glass and put the map on the under side. Put little feet on them and then they would be easily cleaned as well. I could also see this done on the bottom of Clear cup saucers and use those for coasters!

Glass is non-absorbing. Lots of condensation on glass would spoil the reason for coasters. Need an absorbent material. Trying to think of one. Love the use of the map, though.
