A Paint Can Holds a Pocket Garden Hose

Who wants to see a garden hose lying around when it can easily be hidden away? I came up with the perfect solution for hiding our expandable water hose.
This cute paint can holds our expandable garden hose, and it was simple to make.
First, I bought a new/empty paint can at a big box store and sprayed it with a primer.
Then I added painters tape to create stripes and painted it bright red.
The can now sits on our potting bench/outdoor bar, and no one knows it is hiding the hose.
The hose is teeny and fits in my hand yet it is 50 feet long.
It replaced this eyesore and is just as functional.

Mine broke the first time I used it! The fittings broke as soon as I turned on the water. But I'm glad yours is still working and I love the hiding place you created for it.
