Thanksgiving Centerpiece - Nature Meets Vintage

Confession time: In my 47 years I have never hosted a Thanksgiving dinner. Both my grandmother and my mother were like me, they didn't host until the older generation was ready to pass the reins on to the younger generation. Even though I don't host Thanksgiving, I still set a pretty table for my own enjoyment in the month of November. tablescape
I found a vintage pilgrim candle holder in a local shop and had to have it. I actually looked at it for over a month before I bit the bullet and bought it. No regrets. I surrounded the pilgrims with berries, foliage, and bark that I found on a walk with my dog.
I love the colors of fall that I was able to find for free on my walk. After being on my table for 1 1/2 weeks, all of this is still pretty.
I love how my pilgrims are holding hands. Isn't this sweet?
Bittersweet is one plant that I look forward to bringing into my home each fall. I'm not sure what tree has this yellow fall blossom. I searched online for an answer but came up without one.
I picked my wedding china out while I was still in high school. It's a good thing that when I met my husband nearly 10 years later he liked my choice!
Since I'm not really hosting Thanksgiving, I used place mats instead of a table cloth. I think I should host a dinner party since my table is ready for guests!
