Old Dresser From Garage Gets a New Life
I had a client bring an old dresser she had pulled from her mom's garage. She wanted it all painted black. I had a hard time with that. So we convinced her to leave some of the gorgeous wood showing the drawers had some issues and were rough.So it worked out good to paint the them.
I used Java gel on the wood parts. Then I painted the black with General finishes lamppost color.
I sealed the whole piece with general finishes satin top coat.
She will be adding her own knobs to it so that is why it is pictured with put them. She loves the results.

I stained all wood in between the drawers and the legs.
This was the before! Had sat stripped down and unloved for years. It now has a new life!
