Thrift Store Treasure- Chalky Paint Coffee Table

Last month I introduced a new monthly series called Another Girl’s Treasure and shared my bedside table makeover. Thanks so much for all the sweet responses!
Now for this month’s makeover…
I got this table for $10 at a local thrift store. I don’t need a coffee table, but this one was such a great deal and I really love the little details and curvy legs!
Obviously, it had seen better days and it needed some work. I was a little concerned with the rings on top but I just went for the trusty chalky paint!

I used Americana Decor chalky paint in Yesteryear. It’s a very subtle blue/gray color.
I distressed the edges and went over the table with dark wax. I didn’t do any prepping to the top before painting and I think it turned out great. You would never know it had all of those ugly rings!
I actually thought about repurposing it into a bench or hall tree for the entry at the front door.
