We love to get crafty with our garden decor. And even better if we can do it with finds from the dollar store!
We found these hurricane candle holders for $1 each and decided they'd be perfect hanging outside.
We found these hurricane candle holders for $1 each and decided they'd be perfect hanging outside.
We had to figure out a way to hang them, so we wrapped the tops of the hurricanes with armature wire. We twisted loops into the wire to attach chains to. To see how we did it, check it out on our blog.
We decided to dress up the candle holders with dangling gems. We found these plastic "diamonds" with the wedding favors at the craft store.
Finally we added sand, sea glass, and shells to the candle holders and nestled our pillar candles inside.
Have you ever made candle holders for your garden? We'd love to hear what you made! Leave us a comment below!

You have noooo idea in America how lucky
you are to have dollar tree shops and the like. Ours are much more expensive and never under $2-5 for those kinds of things and often more expensive for the craft stuff and forget about thrift stores they are way expensive over here too! It’s sad as the ppl on pensions don’t really get the help they need. I know we are better off than you guys as to when it comes to health but I wish our crafts were sooooo much more cheaper like yrs and second hand things too! Roll on my trip to USA where I buy up a lot of craft cheap things lol love this website and all the ideas keep it up!!
