Building an Outdoor Kids' Fort (Inspired by This Old House)

Nothing says outdoor fun for kids like a good old-fashioned fort! My blog contributor, Kelly, found a simple plan on the This Old House website and she promises it was not difficult at all. You can see the fun modifications she made in these photos, and get more details on the blog link, below.
The "This Old House" website has detailed plans on how to build the fort.
With some modifications (like larger stockade fencing and paint) you can alter the plan to match your kids' imaginations!
Fierce warriors? Nah... they turn to mush when you give them milk and cookies.
Don't forget to plan ahead - getting the fencing home can be a challenge.
Use simple things - like pajamas! - as inspiration for design.
All that's left is for your kids to defend the fortress. And HAVE FUN!!
