Carrie from Thirty Eighth Street is back with another metallic cream project today! She used Aurora and Belt Buckle to give this bedroom set a truly royal new look.
Today, I want to show you a simple way to add texture and depth to furniture hardware. We started out with this beautiful french provincial bedroom set. It had some nicks and a few scratches but overall it was in great shape.
We gave it a few coats of Country Chic All-In-One Decor Paint in Aurora. While we waited for the paint to dry we turned our attention to the hardware. They were filthy! In fact so filthy that the patina on the dresser hardware was different than the patina on the night stand hardware. Gross!
By adding a touch of the metallic cream, we were able to achieve stunning hardware that exhibited depth and interest. Below you can see the richness of the Belt Buckle against the newly cleaned finish. Belt Buckle Metallic Cream gives your hardware a warm copper like hue that looks like it’s aged to perfection.
Put it all back together and you have yourself one amazing bedroom set that stops you in your tracks!
