Concrete Garden Path

We made this garden walkway with a mold that we purchased at Lowe's. We mixed the Quickcrete up and then poured it into the mold a section at a time. It was almost like making mud pies. It was a bit time consuming but we were very happy with the end result. It has held up very well as it has been down now for about 3 years.

How much did it cost after all is said and done? It's exactly what I want to do in a couple yard spaces of ours. Nicely done.

Do you first need to remove any of the dirt before making the stones?

Yes my husband and would love to do this I am 67 and he is 76 so it could take a little longer. We have several places to use this technique. Looking forward to the results. Any hints?

Anyone know where to get these now..tried Lowes, Menards and Home Depot

  @Bonnie S I found the mold in the section where the Quickrete bags of cement are. It's not in the garden section. This is at Lowes on the shelf above the cement bags. If your store doesn't have it order at Lowes.com for 14.98.

  @Johnelle Sherald Thanks..I found them when we went into the store..but they didn't carry the concrete that isn't supposed to crack..and sets up fast. We live in a cold climate so that might be important here

Johnelle...I used portland cement and I used a 5 gallon bucket and just used a bucket of peat moss and a bucket of sand to a bag of cement....can't remember what kind of sand but it was very coarse!
