In My Daughter's Garden ~ a Garden Walk
by

Of all the gardens I have known, one of my very favorites is my daughter’s in Oregon. I delight in seeing Meg’s personality and creativity reflected in the garden and little cottage which she painted herself. A bit Bohemian with a twist of English Cottage Garden thrown in for good measure, her double lot is becoming a sustainable garden of fruits, vegetables and flowering plants. Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, apple and fig trees are interplanted with eggplants, tomatoes, kale, leeks, squash and leafy greens. Drought tolerant plants and bee-friendly blooms for pollinators are mixed throughout her yard and abuzz with activity.
