Simple way to get an elegant look.
Take a plain glass bowl
A string of lights
Christmas balls you want to discard
Place the lights in the bowl, in a circular position allowing for room to place balls on top.
Place balls on top.
This is the end result!

- String of lights (any store, any lights used for christmas)
- Clear glass bowl

Kate Sarsfield on Dec 27, 2016I've been doing this for years using just white lights & baubles but I put them in crystal bowls , glasses etc. (Mum's retirement present) and they look beautiful! I also use those huge pickle jars filled with lights for a more rustic look for outside. I don't know why it says I'm in Canada! I live in Ireland :)
