Just an idea - I use clothes I no longer want or are too small with holes and I’m going to throw put I fit them up and repurpose them. Material
in Australia is so expensive esp fat quarters so I always reuse old clothes and ask friends to do same and give to me. It then takes a weekend to cut up into useful pieces. It saves ALOT of money. And it’s recycling at its best. No landfill from my home! I even reuse avocado packaging like the orange bags these green ones avocado es come in I repurpose them too! On cards scrapbooking. I was brought up by grandparents that recycled EVERYTHING as they lived thru the war rationing etc and frugality was key to living and enjoying life. Good luck hope you do same. Even knickers old undies I reuse too. I mean not like we can donate used underwear lol so I cut gusset out and reuse the material, in many ways. But that’s just me, single mum for the longest time. Saves money and saves buying junk from China too.

Instead of fabric, I've used scrapbook paper cut to size and regular Elmer's glue. Works fine, however, I came across this problem. There's always a sharp edge right inside the upper rim that cuts your finger when you lift out the pencils/pens, etc. How do you "get rid" of that small sharp edge?
