You can make your own beautiful scented soaps for pennies on the dollar. They can be used to accent your bathroom decor, or give away as gifts. There are so many possible variations with mold shapes and fragrances. You can also choose to avoid harsh chemicals and add ingredients that are beneficial for the skin.
Gather your supplies. For this soap I used: 3.5 oz of white melt and pour soap base, "Seashore" soap safe fragrance, teal blue soap safe color, and a mermaid soap mold. You will also need a microwave safe container, a stirrer, and a eye dropper.
Melt the soap in the microwave (about 45 - 60 seconds). Add 3 drops of the teal blue color. Then add 25 -30 drops of Seashore fragrance and stir the soap mixture.
Coat your mold with coconut oil (you can also use petroleum jelly). Then pour in the melted soap mixture. Once the soap has set you can pop it into the fridge to cool off faster.
When the soap is completely cooled you can pop it out of the mold.
The end result is a beautiful fresh smelling decorative hand soap.
