How to Freeze Home Grown Peppers

Have you seen the price of peppers in the store lately? In the dead of winter, prices start at a buck fifty a piece, and that is for a green pepper. Add a little color to those peppers and they get really pricey. If you are lucky enough to grow your own in the summer, or can find them in the store when they are 3 for $1.00 grab as many as you can afford, bring them home and freeze them. Peppers are one of the easiest vegetables to freeze and you can save a bundle too!

Leona Freerksen on Jan 11, 2015Good Info! Unfortunately, it's winter so I'll wait to try this summer. This last year I tried something new. I planted a lot of peppers indoors. Problem is, I waited too late in the year...It's too hot for them indoors & too cold for them outdoors. I'll start over when it's time. Hopefully, I'll get a good crop to try this with. Or, I'll just go to store & buy some. ;)
