My mom bought this pair of vintage shutters and wanted to hang them on the wall. She asked me to come help her paint them and figure out where to hang them and what we could decorate them with. Well we ended up with a super simple and pretty re purpose instead. Check out how we added the shutters to her living room gallery wall.
Before photo: My mom has a great gallery wall & ledge. She loves to decorate it for each season. This is before we added the shutters. Wait for the addition!
Here is the gallery wall after we hung up the new shutters. These shutters added some great height to the room and broke up that big wall space. I say it is a success!
They add such a lovely feel to her gallery wall and room. Easy as that!
She loved it. And she decided not to paint them b/c she has a lot of wood in her space. She may also add some garland or small floral pics to them for Christmas. Simple enough, hope you like it!
