For about 4 yrs on our front porch I have had a potted artificial tree I bought from Menards. It's in a solid heavy white base, lights up but every year it just seems like it looks worse and worse. Lite up it was fine but during the day, blah...
So, after a week in Mexico i came home and started to get Christmas decorations out. In comes the dollar store... it just amazes me what you can find there.
i bought $5 worth of items at the dollar store and perfect tree...
What it looked like before... blah...
Blah...
Gathered supplies... had left over burlap and red tool from the dollar store...flowers and beads...
Measured the tool, approx 6"
Bunches up the ends and ties with a wire, also bought from the dollar store...
Wrapped around the base of the tree...
flowers cut with a good stem so I could wrap around stems.
Added burlap.
Flower beads ready.
Finished product...
All lite up and in position at the front door...
Close up... looks drab to fab!
Enjoyed the project?
