I saw this idea a couple years ago and I finally decided to make one. All you need is a wire coat hanger, Christmas ornaments and ribbon.
I purchased the ornaments at an after Christmas sale. I had pliers on hand in case I had trouble with the hanger.
Untwist the hanger.
I threaded each ornament onto the wire. I twirled them past the twists then slid them down.
Progress.
I threaded every ornament onto the wire. Looks nice and full.
Re twist the top of the hanger and shape so it hangs from a knob or nail.
Add a bow and your done!
I made this one for my daughter. I wouldn't recommend hanging them on a busy door as the bulbs tend to fall off when jostled. I may try gluing the top to each bulb. This works for me as I plan to hang it in the window by the tree.
