Welcome as I share our 2017 Christmas Tour of our new home all dressed for the season. We moved in the week before Christmas last year and immediately started remodeling, so this year I can enjoy all our efforts and decorate. I am loving every minute and so happy to be close to family and friends.
Since we have two story ceilings, we bought a 9' tree this year.
I love this view from the bottom of the stairs. The tree frames the window perfectly
I keep the decor simple with just gold-silver and white.
I chose to let the tree be the star of the show and kept eveything else simple.
Santa, a glittered twig tree and gold reindeer are on the coffee table.
Splashes of gold on the pillows bring lots of sparkle to the sofa.
The dining area has plenty of sparkle and shine from the garland on the staircase and the chandelier.
Putting the garland together was so much fun. I added several different kinds of floral piks and then some pretty Dollar Tree plastic ornaments.
The view of the garland going up the stairs is a show stopper for sure.
I set our Christmas table with gold and silver also. Our Nativity is the center of attention here.
This is a vintage set that I inherited from my Mother - in - law. My hubby remembers growing up with these pieces.
Gold trimmed stemware and Bone and Silver flatware dress up the table.
The perfect way to celebrate the season.
