Everyone knows how important first impressions are... and that goes for your home too! Give your front door a colorful new look with this simple project. It will only take you a couple of hours to complete, and visitors will be excited to see what the rest of the house has in store!

This is what our front door looked like before. It was okay, but it just lacked personality. I'm a big fan of color, so I wanted to add a pop of greenish blue!

There aren't very many supplies necessary for this project, and it's a very simple makeover to achieve. I did all four doors on our house in one day! Here's an image of the supplies that you'll need for your front door makeover.

The first step is to clean your door thoroughly and mask off your hardware using painter's tape. You might also consider removing the hardware if it's easy to take off.

Next, it's time to add the first coat of paint. To check out the rest of my detailed instructions and find out how I created this custom aqua paint color, please visit my blog Design Fixation!
