Miniature Zinc Pails & Barn Wood Planter Tutorial

Don't you love the look of reclaimed wood and anything galvanized? I do. I use galvanized pails as planters all the time in my junk garden. This project uses five mismatched zinc pails/pots and a 30" long board, and it's super easy!
Hen and chicks (Sempervivum) work very well in these miniature pails.
Be sure to add a drainage hole in each pot. A nail and hammer will work.
I have a little secret to keeping the pots in place on the board so the pails can't slide off if bumped or blown. Full details and measurements on my blog!
