This wooden banner is the perfect touch for any adventure themed nursery or kids room. It's also really simple to make! This sign adds a bit of a camp-y feel to any space and could also be great as a part of a gallery wall

Use a saw to cut your 1/4" thick plywood into a pennant shape. I used a miter saw to do this. Use a drill to drill 2 holes 1 inch in from each top corner. These holes should be the width of your rope. Sand well. Stain and allow to dry.

Use paint and a small paint brush OR a paint pen to write your message on the sign. I used chalk to trace my words on first to be sure that I was happy with the size and spacing of the letters.

Cut a piece of rope to the desired length - mine is about 2 feet long. String through the holes in the sign and tie a knot on each end. Trim any excess. I made the knots on the back side of my sign so they are not visible from the front.

Hang on a small nail via the rope. Enjoy your new sign!
