Buffet Make Over
Moved to a new place had all this extra space need some where to put extra pictures. So I hade a bright Idea brighter than the Grinch at Christmas! so I knew I needed a new piece of furniture, but I didn't want to spend any large amount of money I did not have. So off to the thrift shop. and I found a treasure, I felt like I stole it just as the Grinch who stole Christmas. I found an old Buffet table for under 50 dollars.
this was the original state of the piece when I bought it home from the thrift shop for under $50 dollars yes what a steal, I tell I was like the Grinch at Christmas.
using metallic paint which I was very impressed with , this paint actually gave it a really rustic , but at the same time glamourous look that I was hoping for. I used about two -three cans ,but what I will say is allow the paint to dry and sanding is a Plus and a must. This avoids drips and runs!
This is the finished product after it dried, it was a piece that bought light and beauty to my new home. I believe this piece is both timeless because of the style and the metallic finish.
