Pallet Bench and Coffee Table

These benches and table are a fun blend of rustic wood, fresh colors, and re-purposed materials. The table base is made from a metal storage shelving unit that’s no longer needed, and a material that’s locally abundant – beach pebbles. Yes, beach pebbles!
These cute chubby pebbles weigh about 50 pounds! Our table is very sturdy, and not going anywhere!
After some designing and drawing out the details, we took apart the pallets, and cut all the pieces to size.
We joined the pieces with glue, nail, and pocket hole screws. Love the pocket hole jig! =)
The yellow adds a modern touch to blend with the rustic wood.
Arrange the wood to highlight their characters for the table top!
A hollow post is placed inside the metal cage & pebble structure, then the post attached to table is slide into this post.

Great way of creating deck/patio or even porch furniture out of something that probably would have been tossed out. The idea of using rocks (free) in the wire cage to use as a base for your table. Great idea. If you had need, you could also use the caged rocks for decor around your yard. Beautiful work.

That’s so awesome. Definitely going to try this. Have so many pellets at my disposal. Thanks for the idea
