Oversized Peg Board
Hi, I'm Amber Oliver! I hope if you enjoy this project you'll also stop by my blog!
Peg boards are often found in the garage but they can be useful throughout your home! You can make this diy peg board for your office / craft room. This would serve as a sort of “command station” for all your craft supplies.
1) Paint your frame with your desired color or theme
2) While waiting for it to dry, you can glue the small wood pieces on the back of the frame. Use a wood glue, clamp them and let them dry.
3) Measure the opening in the frame, and cut the peg board with the circular saw. Always wear your safety goggles and ear plugs
4) Attach your peg board to the frame with a staple gun.
5) When the peg board is cut and attached to the frame, you are ready to hang it!
6) Now comes the fun part: adding the peg hooks and hanging up your tools!
I intend to have a cart under the peg board with my Silhouette machine and was so glad to have a place for all my Silhouette accessories.

I was already planning a similar project, but now I know to attach some scrap wood behind the frame to give it a pocket a space behind the pegboard. I also didn't know that I could simply staple the pegboard to the frame. I was about to buy some Liquid Nails from Lowe's, but I already have an electric staple gun and staples, so you just saved me some money and an extra errand. Thank you!
