I found this wooden board at Target on clearance and knew I could upcycle and repurpose it in some way. I decided to make a versatile recipe holder with it.

You can see more of my crazy creations here

Here's the original wooden board. It has a picture frame holder build in on back.

I had some of these clips on hand that came from the dollar store.

I added some E6000 glue to the back of the clip.

I pressed it onto the board and let it dry for 24 hours.

I realize a board with a picture frame style back isn't something that's easy to find. You can use this same concept with a picture frame. Put a decorative picture inside and add the clip to the glass.

Now I can clip on my recipes easy for cooking but that's not all ...

I can lean my cookbooks onto it.

I can clip on small cookbooks and keep them open to a page I like.

I can also use it to hold my grocery store list when I'm not using it for cooking.
