Easy DIY Frame Your Mirror
One of the first home improvement projects I ever did was to frame my bathroom mirror. ( I tell you, once you start a little project and it looks great, you will be on your way to more and bigger projects!!)
I had seen this done somewhere else, and I wanted to try to duplicate it.

So here is the mirror at our little condo. I didn't like the plain-ness of it, and I wanted to add a frame.
All I needed to do was buy molding and cut it at an angle, and glue it on. Except.... I ran into a little snag. The mirror clips holding the mirror on the wall stuck up and were in the way. My husband was kind enough to help me by cutting notches underneath the molding where the clips were.
On the bottom of the mirror, the molding had to go up pretty high in order not to be on the tile. It was a small bathroom!
I think I used Caulk to attach the molding to the mirror. Liquid Nails would probably be a better product to use.
Even after I added the molding, it didn't quite give the big impact that I hoped for. I put up a picture over the lights and that improved the look of it alot. (I kept the lights off to get a better photo.)

This would be just the beginning of many, many home improvement projects in my future! I had always done crafts like crocheting. Now I would begin to be crafty in the way I did my home improvement.

The frame just finishes off the mirror! The first thing I did in my bathroom was to get rid of those Holywood bar lights. Next the mirror frame!
