This year I was trying to come up with an idea for a birthday present that was unique like my 6 year old niece. She's a spunky, fun little girl who basically has every toy she could want or need at this age. I wanted to come up with something she'd enjoy that wasn't the standard 'go to Walmart and buy a gift' idea. Check out my blog for more details about this indoor fairy garden that I came up with. Thanks to a local gardening centre, the project was relatively pain free, and super fun!
This is a photo of the finished garden for Sawyer, who loves all things magical. The plants take very little water and should thrive just nicely in this little world.
A close up view of the boy and girl fairy, their little black cat and the teeter/totter, which can all easily be moved about in the garden for imaginative play.
Enjoyed the project?
