This changing table served 4 babies thru the years, so I couldn't bear giving it away. I decided to try my hand at repurposing.
Before (not exact one), but looks exactly like it. I had to break it down at my sisters in order to get in my car.
I reassembled 2nd and bottom row and added 2x4 pallet pieces under for support (these came from trash at Home Depot). Top was attached to back.
Next I painted with the help of my 7 yr old. Paint was a mismatched quart $1 from Lowes. I used about half. Fabric bins I had on hand (they don't match) that came from Dollar Tree.
Seat was made from leftover plywood cut a bit smaller, then I took twin matters pad (looks like egg crate) and cut approximately 5 pieces for pad. Then covered with fabric shower curtain from local thrift store $4.50. Stapled in place. Made pillows from upholstery samples.
Total investment $5.00
