A great inexpensive flooring option is to simply finish the osb sub floor with a good varathane floor finish. We did this at our cabin for a warm rustic look that is still strong and durable.

Kristy Williams Tillman on Apr 03, 2015I'm with the others...did you stain it first? And how many coats did you use? Did you cover everything so the dust didn't fly everywhere?

B. Enne on Jul 12, 2015Great job! I saw this over 15 years ago in a Home Hardware (Canada) diy magazine. I had planned on doing it then LOL... My question is how do you remove the stamped name? Does it come off with sanding? The last boards I saw were printed on both sides!

Mb_2674956 on Oct 18, 2015@B. Enne I have the same question. Goof Off and Turpentine do not take off the printing. Sanding takes it down to a smooth finish and we want the rougher look.
