DIY Boxed Wagon

I love it when I can take different things I have picked up at yard sales and put them together to make an entirely new FANTASTIC piece!
I picked up this old box at my local Restore store and the wagon was a yard sale find. They were the perfect size to fit together.
We had to take the base of the wagon off. It took awhile because the screws were old and rusted, but we finally got them all off.
Then, we measured the holes for the box from the holes in the top part of the wagon.
I painted it a fun green color, distressed it and then added a graphic from Graphic Fairies.
I still have the lid and painted that in the same color too, but I had to fill this box with some beautiful flowers from our backyard for the pictures. This is one of my favorite upcycles to date!

I wanted to see what the red radio flyer bucket was going to be turned into? something awesome? I thought. Then I felt let down. I like you made yourself a larger wagon for getting things around. But the iconic red bucket needs a great place to be repurposed.

@Megan If you read my post, you would see that I am planning something with the red part of the wagon. This project let you down??? I am over the moon about it and love the way it turned out! Could not be happier. Thanks
