I believe I have come up with a way to organize your closet to save you time when getting dressed for work, night out on the town or your Church meeting
This is my before picture of part of my closet. Usually, I have everything color coordinated which is a big help when getting dressed.
So I emptied the closet out. Threw everything into the bathroom right behind me. So I stand there contemplating my next move. Looking at the empty space was so exhilarating. Then I turned around to begin my new organization and as my eyes looked into the bathroom I was flabbergasted!!! Couldn't believe my eyes, what have I done! Piles of clothes piled high and I could not even get thru the bathroom. Really just wanted to cry. I started this I'm going to finish this. Should have taken a picture of that mess!! But good thing I didn't you all would have been running. Believe me what a site.
Next I gathered a few items I needed to make this re-organization. I usually save the little flip tab from my seltzer waters. I do crafts and they come in handy.
Be careful when removing tab as to not cut your finger.
So what I started to do is grab things that went together. This set is an example of what I did. I took the leggings, the top and the sweater along with the socks. Hung everything together.
Next, I dug out the necklace and earrings that match this set. Put them in a snack bag and clipped to the hanger.
Here it is up close.
This photo shows the almost completed grouping.
Next I found the scarf that goes wth the set. Added the scarf to the grouping.
Well, I got thru it.... my clothes back in the closet pretty much still color coordinated. Pants paired with anything that I would wear with them. Did the samething with my skirts. This is going to be so much easier getting ready. I just pull out the outfit I want to wear and everything is attached. Wow, what an accomplishment!! Hope I never have to do a whole closet again. But am thankful that I did it.
I did not figure out how to get this photo in the number order where it belongs. But it shows you an important step. This is what I used the soda tabs for. See following photo.
If I needed to use two hangers, this is where the tab came in handy. I could attach he two hangers together with the tab.
Suggested materials:
  • The only materials you need are hangers, tabs from soda cans, snack bags and clips.
