A Sophisticated Dresser

This gorgeous two-toned dresser was refurbished by Andrea from Crossroad Creations with Liquorice!
I am so excited to share with you this latest dresser made over by Crossroad Creations. I love the combination of brown and black, which is so trendy right now! Liquorice is just the most gorgeous shade of black and is my absolute favourite to work with. Here is a picture of the finished product.
I chose to only paint the frame of the dresser, with the drawers and top remaining a natural wood finish. I used the oval paint brush by Country Chic Paint for the first time and I must say I’m in love! After a couple of coats of Liquorice on the dresser, it was sealed with natural wax.
I had to purchase new drawer knobs for the top drawers because they were mismatched when I purchased it. I chose knobs that were complimentary to the pulls on the lower drawers. I added paper liners to the drawers in a sophisticated print.
I left the frame around the mirror natural and painted the support pieces. I love the versatility of being able to remove the mirror for a bedroom or remove it so that it can be used in a living space.
I hope you like our most recent transformation. Sometimes even a subtle change can provide a stunning result!
